Water creates healthy and happy communities.
Do you realise how lucky we are? Communities in Australia enjoy incredible facilities and ecosystems. Including access to fresh and clean water, straight from the tap. But on the other hand, did you know that 2.2 billion people do not have this? Access to clean water is a big problem for a lot of people on this planet.
To bring attention to this sobering fact, we went on a mission. We replaced the artwork in our drinking fountain on the Gold Coast with a few simple words. Watch the video to see what it says.
Australia serves some of the best drinking water in the world
But it’s not just being near water that is good for us. It’s drinking plenty of fresh and clean water that really benefits our minds and bodies. In Australia, we are blessed with some of the best drinking water in the world.

Staying hydrated is essential for good health
Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons. This includes regulating body temperature and keeping joints lubricated. It also prevents infections, delivers nutrients to cells, and keeps organs functioning properly. On top of that, being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.
We are thankful for clean water
Our mission is to put easy access to fresh and clean drinking water at the heart of public planning.
Without water, there is no life.

Water creates healthy and happy communities
Thankfully, smart community and public space planners agree. And those planners place the inclusion of drinking water fountains top of mind. The result is that you will see more and more drinking fountains being included in the places where people gather to socialise, exercise, play, learn, and commute.

Where in your community would you like to see a drinking fountain installed?
